The Denver Council dinner scheduled for Friday, May 19, 2023 will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton Central Park Denver. The address is 4040 Quebec Street, Denver, Colorado. It is located at the intersection of I-70 and Quebec Street.
Social hour will begin at 6:00pm. Dinner will be served at 7:00pm. Due to rising costs, we have had to raise our price for a dinner plate to $40.00. Hamburger platters for young people will still be available for $20.00 per plate.
Our guest speaker for the evening will be Marine Corps Colonel Robert Bodisch. A second-generation Marine, Col. Bodisch currently serves as the Commanding Officer of the Naval Reservice Officer Training Corps at the University of Colorado in Boulder. His presentation will center on joining the military as an Officer. He will talk about his experience leading the NROTC program at CU and describe the kinds of young men and women that participate in our ROTC program, and what to expect upon commissioning and entering the fleet to lead our nation’s most precious national security assets- our Sailors and Marines.
We will also honor this year’s high school graduates who are heading of to the Sea Service Academies and who have been awarded NROTC scholarships.
